Usage tips
- • Safety margin 25% — professional standard — extends PSU life and reduces heat buildup
- • Strips longer than 5-10m — use dual feed (power from both ends) to reduce voltage drop
- • Outdoor use — choose Waterproof or RainX models with IP67
- • 220V AC (Neon Flex 220V) — connects directly to mains — no PSU needed

What to do when drop exceeds 5%
- • Dual feed — power the strip from both ends; effective wire length halves, drop quarters
- • Thicker wire — upgrade to 1.5mm² or 2.5mm² to reduce wire resistance
- • Shorter runs — split into multiple shorter strips, each with its own PSU
- • Higher voltage — switch to 24V or 48V; current (and drop) drop by half or a quarter
- • Right PSU size — check the PSU Calculator tab to make sure you have the right power supply
